Description Can I say, holy *bleeeeeep*? o___o A DD?! Thank you so much everyone! <3

Hello everyone!
It's my FIRST FLASH ever so I'm excited about finishing this. <3

This is a step-by-step all you need to know about how to draw a jellyfishes! 5 different jellyfish are introduced and made in this. A total of 89 pages are in this tutorial.

Credits are on the last page of the flash but as a reminder, my information source was basically Wikipedia. So if any of the information you read is incorrect, please let me know and I'll see what I can do to fix it.

Thanks a bunch! Please comment and let me know if it is helpful and what kind of tutorial you'd like to see from me next!

Yup. XD I originally was going to draw 10 jellyfish types... but after the box jellyfish I got worried about the tutorial size and if DA would accept it. >_<

Wow, that was wonderful. You're quite good at painting jelly fish! This makes me want to try painting other things, since you made it look so dang easy. I'm definitely gonna try your dark-to-light technique!

I'll have to make sure I come back and try your techniques. It's really interesting, I've never actually thought about drawing jellyfish before and it makes me think of other things I might overlook which could be an interesting creature. Thank you and a llama for you

looks really great^^
Just your 2nd Jellyfish misses something^^
The "comb" you name might be part of the nervous net, there are 4 of them and 4 circles like that, if you look closely at your reference. Also, the "cloud" is inside and would therefore be a bit blurry. It might be sth like mouth tentakles or so^^
Still great job :3

I'll have to change that in the tutorial later. :3

Yeah, the four orange circles in the Aurelia picture are ... gonads ...

And most jellies have at least eye spots here and there, good for sensing light, but that's about it. The box jellies do have eyes, like scallops (on a live scallop, the blue bead-like things around the shell edges are eyes!), and sort of li'l ganglia brain-like things around the bell to process the information. Many box species can move enough to chase after prey ...

Smithsonian and National Geographic mags are your friends!

I had a much more detailed lab book on invertebrate anatomy, but I moved it, and now I can't find it ...

That'll teach me.
