Well, here you go. It's been about 50 hours and, I hope you like it.

It's a commission that the science teacher at my Chinese Education Centre requested sometime at the end of last year, and because I was slack during the Christmas holidays, I left it to the end of January...

The size of the canvas was 24" by 18" and I did the usual acrylic painting like my tanks; I only used the three prime colours plus black and white for the whole painting.

I've got a lot to say about this painting, seeing that it's the best painting I've done to date, but of course there will always be places to change, but part of being an artist is deciding when a piece is done and finished. I've never had much experience in painting clouds and none with the fire, so I may have fluked it.

I hope I don't get too attached to this painting though, seeing that it's being bought off me and I possibly won't ever see it again... T.T

After consideration from my teachers, I decided to change the clouds and the fire. I burred out the clouds and left a little less white to make it feel more subtle. The fire was another fluke and I made it brighter to distinguish it's colour from the wings.
