Well, I know some people on here aren't familar with animals so I thought I'd make a general "how to" sheet. Note: My anatomy isn't good even with refs. So I'm not the best to look at for that. Also, action lines (motion lines) help some people.Images refed for the two sketches:

note, I just googled these and didn't use permission. I wouldn't recomment that. There are a TON of stock photo galleries out there. I HIGHLY recommend if your not used to drawing lions or big cats that you get a ref pic of a big cat. (If you can't find a lion, try a panther. Or really any other big cat. To be truthful, house cats have similar positions but not anatomy. But if you jsut need help with the pose, they're fine to ref.)

i have trouble with drawing just the cat face, im not sure how to put it, but yeah i can draw the eyes but not the acctual build of the face. im not sure if that makes help but yeah, i need help.

hmm the idea is good, i like to draw it freehand as well tho xD hmm it would look a little better in ink, if the lines were more confident, they are kinda shaky you know? anyways, good one for 15 minutes for work ^^

I think it's easier freehand, too, don't get me wrong. (It was actually a pain to try to think of how I would do it this way.) But it was done on a whim. I appreciate the input thought!

*nodnod* as said above it was actually harder for me to do it this way then to just...draw. But it was a shot at something. *shrug* It's good to have input though. I was considering making a newer one as these were thrown together quite quickly years ago... and people seemed to like it. *shrug*

it's gonna be similar but not quite. It's hard to explain. It would be a step by step how I draw but I'm gonna go a little bit out of my way and take a couple steps that I wouldn't normally.

a mixture of both. I mean more of freehand, as it's gonna be drawn freehand,but I'll incert a this is the central shape type thing...Sorry like I said it's hard to explain.

*nodnod* if I remember correctly the actual drawings only took 15-20 mins together. It was a couple years ago. They're really not that great. I've been considering doing more... but gosh, I'm so out of practice with lions now. ;.; It makes me sad.

This is really cool! But can I suggest just one thing? Did you use a ballpoint pen? Felt tip pens are easier to outline with! ^^ Luff Ur work!
