Description
Well this is the best I could do guys. Lineart tutorials can only help you know how to prepare to do your lineart but no one can take a person's hand to make the person draw crisp lines, it's pretty much up to the artist.I only have one additional suggestion. Practice your control over your hand often, that's the key for good linearts.
And yeah, that's a sesshkag pic I'm working on right now. I'll be doing the coloring tutorial while I color it.

i can never get any smooth lines.

You could try Using paint tool SAI, it's very easy to do Lineart with mouse using vectors there ;D

this is probably one of the best lineart tutorials i've seen. I didn't think that going slow would be the problem and i've always wanted to
learn how to lineart with out using the pen tool to get the variations of thicknesses

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I scanned one of my pictures and was trying to figure out how to make my lines darker, but now I'm going to invest in a drawing tablet. XD Now that I know more about line-art and drawing tablets, I feel stupid for trying to redraw my lines on the "paint" program, XD lol

Do you draw on paper and scan it, then make lines digital?
Nice tutorial btw

I really like this! It made me a little less scared to try using my tablet for linearts. it'spretty clear how you do it and I've never noticed that quicker strokes ended up with better lines. Thanks for posting it!

I never was very able to work with linearts in this way
Don't get me wrong my linearts are decent but because I lack the ability to color well, my linearts make up 70 percent of the effort in my stuff XD

Aww, a fellow artist who does lineart in PS by hand. I'm still practicing my lineart skills. Since, I don't have CS3 anymore, I don't have the pen tool, so I have to do everything the old way. I have Photoshop Elements 6. Thanks for the tutorial.
