This has been the culmination of a project months in the making! (Though it's also a project that should've been finished a months ago.
)As is mentioned in the title this is part 1 of a 2 part story.
-I hesitate to mention this but, for those offering critique I must make a clarification; This has been a project months in the making. I'm not asking you to hold back or pull punches, rather just be aware that my art has improved since I originally sketched this thing out. Please take a look at one or two of my other recent pictures before you tailor your advice based on this picture alone.

I cried when I read all of your comics. They are amazing and so emotional. The third one really hit me. It was so sad...

I saw the video on YouTube. I commented on Part 4 about how sad it was for Applejack to loose her parents. I know how it feels to lose a family member. Both my grandpas were dead before I was born and I was lie, IDK, maybe 4 when my grandmas died. I only remember my mother's side grandmother. But not very well though.
I also lost an Aunt in 2012. Everyone in my family was sad, but I think her close family members like my mother, who was sisters with her were sad the most.

I gotta say, this comic really touched me. I grandmother died when I was really young, and this really expresses how it feels. I mean, a grandmother Β isn't like both parents, but it still hurts, and this really shows that. I just wanted to thank you for touching me so deeply, and I can't wait to see how you end this story.

AAAAHHHH!!! THESE FEELS. I felt them when my grandfather died and when my aunt died.
When it was my grandfather it was because all the younger cousins would never know him, would never have the memories that the older ones were able to have.

Really sad :,( the part when Applejack tried to confirm Applebloom but she ended with crying like her sister, so emotional and sad, I really liked it

I really like Apple Bloom's line: "It's dumb".
I felt like that would be something she would say, given that her family isn't known for sharing their deepest, darkest emotions.
It made me recall several times in my life, when something was really bugging me, but it felt like it was something stupid, that no one else would want to hear.
Little things like that are what keep stories like this from being totally dark or sappy, while keeping the emotions real and alive.
As for the art, it's better than what I could do, and the characters are easily recognizable, plus reading their emotions is easy.Β
Overall: 8/10 and the only reason it's not a 9 is that this is kind of explored territory within the fandom. Keep in mind i have only read the first part so far, so you could still morph this into a more original idea.
Still great, though! Keep it up.
