HOGWASH! THIS FLASH TEACHES YOU NOTHING GOOD AT ALL LOL! THIS IS ANNA AND I RECOMMEND THAT U CHECK MY FLASH TUTORIAL OUT LOL!FINALLY!
After MONTHS AND MONTHS of Dragging and delay, I finally managed to finished what I Promised
A flash tutorial Animation.
But After this, I will never make such things again cause its Time consuming and Tedious
This flash tutorail is sutiable for People who just got flash and are clueless in doing animations in it for someone who mastered flash, this would be more of a "yawn Did that, saw that, done that" but well, there are funny elements to it...
anyway, Thanks to the people who "Flammed" my flash on request.....sorry that i cannot remember whos who cause the names in the screencap is blur.
Sorry for the "rush up ending" at the last part I really dont feel like doing this anymore, and I want to end this quick and settle it once and for all. now another load is off my back..i can relax a bit....
anyway, sitback and watch the animation, who knows, u may leanr something from it!

Even though I knew most of this I DID learn a thing or two, like grouping symbols together. May not be an essential thing to learn, but little things like that give me more knowledge of the program.
I mostly paid attention to your characters' animations, their actions and expressions specifically. I'm a bit of a beginner in animation in general actually, so I'm getting as much learning as I can.

this is really helpful! although, im following the tut exactly and its not doing the same as what your showing in the tut.
for motion tween, iv made the circle, and i want to convert it to a symbl, but everytime i press to make it a movie clip, the circle just disappears and theres a little x in the middle of the screen. this porgram is so fustrating and confusing

Instead of showing step-by-step, you just started giving blocks of text, of which quite a bit wasn't explaining at all well.
Naow he's the funny thing..
When you got lazy to bother continue up the (was) high standard tutorial, and changed to the block-of-text-horror in the majority of the tutorial. I funnily lost interest too
... Strange that? -.-
Hope you learnt to NOT promise to do stuff in Flash after this.
But meh... kudos on the good part of the tutorial. The animated parts were nice.

This was a brilliantly entertaining and educational Flash. Adding the characters to interact with each other while teaching the viewer some new things was absolutely brilliant, though, I was unable to find a button to jump from the starting sequence to the tutorial. It's just that, watching the starting to the tutorial more then once can be a bit strenuous. Other then that small thing, I absolutely loved it and hope that there are more animations as much fun as this to teach me more complicated things to do with Flash around DeviantArt.

i made a flash animation but the size of the file is huge D: and is taking ages to post here on DA DX
how can i make it smaller??

some factors that may blow up .swf file size.
is your flash's music/sound media at a high quality?
do you have many .jpg or high res image files imported into it?
is your brush strokes at the lowest smoothness settings or generally, the lines u draw are all at minimum smoothness

from all the quiestions i have... i only remember this one (but is the most stupid ....)
um... ok i draw something with the smaller size of the brush tool and it isnt zoom in and it draw of one zise, but if i zoom in and draw with the same brush, teh size is different D: even if i use the same size of the brush....
weird question i know D: hope you understand what i was trying to say

I'm still trying to figure out how you got the limbs to move without them flying away from the character xD;;
I've had my version of Flash open while watching this, and following you're tips, I managed to make three different shapes move, but thats all I can achieve 
I'll likely play around with flash and revise you're tutorial, and hopefully I'll come up with something more productive than flying shapes XD

That was also my problem before. XD But like what he said, the "Pivot Joint" is also important in Motion Tweening. I'm not so sure about this, but most of the times, what I do is to align the middle white circle from the original frame up to the last, so it won't 'detatch' away. XD

Flash is so complicated, those who know how to use it make it look easy! XD;;
I'll probably stick with the way I animate on flash until I actually catch on to how its suppose to be done XD ( Im slow like that
