An update from last years! I have tons of little inspirations rather than a few big ones. I mostly like crazy amounts of color and good story/character development.

Starting from upper left corner

Light/Forests: This represents two of my favorite things. I love how light bounces off things and creates interesting shadows. I feel most at home in forests like the ones I went camping in as a kid. I love identifying all sorts of plants on my walks.

Pokemon: Been a fan ever since it started and most of my doodles are pokemon. I also decorate my room with pokemon stuff. Favorite pokemon is espeon.

Japanese woodblock prints: I discovered these during college and I love them. I love studying about them too.

Karl Krerschl: He did the penciling for Teen Titans:Year One. I love his style, especially how he draws girl lips. They're so cute!

Aria: Love the manga and the anime. I love slice of life stories and I really want to go to Venice someday.

Airports: I love flying and sitting in the airport. I purposely get there early so I can sit and watch people (I draw them too).

Sunsets/Beaches: I love colorful sunsets! I also love explring beaches, I find cool things there.

Bill Peet: He's been an inspiration since I was a kid. Each time I come to a crossroads in my life his autobiography always pops up and gives me encouragement. Recently it made me think about writing and illustrating books.

Studio Ghibli: I love the story telling and their backgrounds are amazing.

Teen Titans: I've always loved super heroes, but none more than the Teen Titans. I always have liked secondary characters best, so it's fun to have the secondary characters as the main characters in this series. My favorite ones are Kid Flash and Wonder Girl, followed closely by Robin and Starfire.

Scott T Petersen: He helped me to be able to draw adorable more realistic looking people. He also taught me more animation skills and made me glad I didn't go to Cal Arts.

Awkward Zombie: I've been enjoying watching her style gradually improve over the years I've been watching. They're also hilariously funny.

Sonic the Hedgehog: My favorite characters are secondary characters again Drawing Sonic-like characters is fun.

Avatar: The REAL Avatar, I can't wait for Legend of Korra! This show has gorgeous animation and an epic storyline. It helped to inspire a story I'm working on right now.

Yotsuba: Another slice-of-life awesome piece of sweet sauce. Hilarious and very uplifting.

Yumi Tsukirino: She was my main style influence when I started on DeviantArt and she made every pokemon cute. Even the ugly ones! I want to make graphic novels because of her (and Clamp).

KTShy: Makes awesome journal comics that are beyond hilarious! I would love to meet her someday! Her art inspired me to push my facial expressions more.

Dreamworks: Watching this studio grow has been great! I've loved they're past few movies (How to Train Your Dragon, Megamind, KungFu Panda) and they have gotten so much better in their story department (for their 3d movies, I think the 2d ones they did were pretty good). It's good that they keep Pixar on their toes.

Disney/Pixar: Disney has been everywhere in my life and inspired me to become better as an artist. I love getting the huge, fantastical art books that go along with the movies. There is so much talent!

Mushrooms: I love how many variations of these there are and how beautiful and delicate they are. They're my favorite photography subjects.

Atsuko Nishida: My favorite pokemon card illustrator. I want to do her coloring style, I <3 it!
