Starter Pokémon from way back then (2nd Generation) and the most recent games (4th Generation). I'm sure Pokémon fans both old and new will remember traversing through the fields and forests, wandering in the caves, surfing the wave and challenging Gym Leaders on your way to the Pokémon League.Related content

Good times. I still can't help but think that 2nd and 4th are the two best generations; but out of them I only like Typhlosion/Feraligatr/Torterra/Empoleon.

Exactly! I ended up disliking the 3rd gen a fair bit because it felt like it lasted forever and milked the living heck out of the series.

Yeah, Nintendo gave us a lot from it. It sure was interesting though--I mean, they introduced new concepts (2-on-2 battles, that candy for Pokemon), and it had some cool Pokemon.

As I was working on this, I used 200% zoom. Once I was done, I thought it looked pretty cool. That is, until I zoomed out to actual size and saw how tiny it was. So I shoved it through Photoshop and decided to include both in the same picture.
