WELL NOW YOU CAN MAKE THEM BLINK WITH THIS TUTORIAL. Have an exciting life with your art now! Now they can sit and blink. AT THE SAME TIME.
OK HI 3:15 AM... TUTORIAL FOR BLINKING AND COLORING AND STUFF.
once and for all I am not answering questions regarding tablet pressure issues and NO you can't do this with a mouse. Mice suck, get a tablet.
If anything's confusing I'll try to clear it up. OK ENJOY READING.

omg xD I've never thought of using free transform for the half lidded eyes. so far I've drawn and colored every part xD /fail
now I'm going to save lots of time and get to be more lazy from now on if doing blinking xD

I'm having a problem with animation. How can I put the other eyes into the frames? I can only get the same image all the time -total n00b- T ^ T

You need to add frames yourself
1st Frame open
so you have the eyes open with the two other eye layers hidden -> make a new frame
2nd frame half lidded
same thing -> make a new frame
and so on. always end the entire cycle with a half lidded layer cuz it's going in a cycle.

.gifs can be animations or static images. When I do this, a box pops up and asks which I mean it to be. Maybe you're just clicking through without reading boxes?

It's animated when it's a thumbnail... but the fullsized version doesn't blink... I'm going to check that. >_<
