D36 - Nesbit is a stargazer. She knows all the constellations and makes wishes on shooting stars.
At least, that is what the Researchers say
Unlike other Matrilines in D Pod, Nesbit's Matriline doesn't have any other young ones, so she finds other ways to entertain herself alone. Nesbit is curious of the world around her, while the rest of her family is cautious of the world.

This is such a wonderfully calming piece. She looks so peaceful, just rushing through the water a bit to look up at the stars. I wonder if any other animal actually does look up at the sky for something other than navigational purposes. Also I'm loving how you did the water here. Very effective at being convincing without needed every little detail!

I'm really pleased with how this ended up because I really struggled to make it all come together XD Originally it was a day scene but as soon as I thought to change it to night time everything started working. Woo!
School, and procrastinating school, is taking up my time haha. Β But I'm starting to get back on top of my assignments now. It's frustrating because I have a really strong urge to make some clay models after coming up with a neat idea I want to try. Hopefully I can put some time aside to explore that idea and share it. Maybe one day!Β Β

Yea, sometimes that's what happens with paintings. You get stuck and stuck for the longest time, until you change or do one thing and suddenly it fits. Glad that's what happened here 
Oh, I know the feeling. Especially the procrastination part... When did school start again for you may I ask? Over here it'll only begin in a week. Or, wait, are you on the Southern Hemisphere? (for some reason I think of Australia with you but I've no idea why) If so you must have different summer vacations, haha. Anyway, in my experience with having school stuff + wanting to try something, it's best to do the things you reallyΒ have to do for school first. And then just do the thing you want to try. Otherwise you might never get round to it - just start!

My schooling is by correspondence and work placement so there are no terms or vacations for me
