Description

Here is the eleventh drawing for Sonic's upcoming 30th Anniversary. This here is Gemerl, a robot created by Dr. Eggman from Emerl's data after it was destroyed in Sonic Battle and also debuted in Sonic Advance 3, the third installment of the Sonic Advance trilogy.

Sometime after Emerl's death in the events of Sonic Battle, Dr. Eggman created him and used the Gizoid's data. Later on, the doctor broke the Earth using Chaos Control to conquer every piece of it. With the help of his robotic lackey, Gemerl was sent out to stop Sonic and his friends from getting to Eggman and restoring Earth. Unfortunately, he gets defeated from one place to another. He can also merge with Eggman's mechs to defeat Sonic and his allies, but is also been beaten by them. When Eggman and Gemerl arrived at Altar Emerald, Sonic and his friends have restored the earth and defeated the two, they tried to escape but all of a sudden, Gemerl stole seven of the Chaos Emeralds and transformed into Ultimate Gemerl. Gemerl has betrayed Eggman and fled off to space.

Luckily, Sonic used the Chaos Emeralds to turn into his super form, Super Sonic. And he and Eggman teamed up to stop the rampaging robot in space. They soon defeated him and Gemerl exploded and landed on earth, with his broken body ending up on a beach. He was soon found by Cream and her mother, Vanilla and was taken to Tails' workshop to fix him. Not only did Tails fix him, but was also reprogrammed to be a kind and helpful robot and soon after, became friends with Cream and started living with her and Vanilla.
