Here's part two of my push pull assignment! Marco tries again, and with better results. Now watch, the chest'll be empty or something.

The animation in this one was supposed to be more Looney Tunes style than the other one. I didn't want to exaggerate it THAT much though so I did a sort of blend between natural and exaggerated.

I highly recommend watching in DivX quality. Otherwise it's too small to really tell what's going on...

Really nice work! esp for student work! Where did you get the rig? Make it yourself? Really good timing with the little guy, I love it I really hope I get a chance to do an animation with more 'toonie' timing. Mostly everything I've done so far is realistic stuff Maybe if I changed from games to film...

Thanks! I designed and modeled him myself, but Ringling has their own rig that you can import and move the joints to where you want them. I did add a few joints in his head crest and his tail, but other than that the rig was pretty much already made. xD

lol I watched this and said to myself 'this looks like it came straight out of Ringling...' So then I had to go stalk your profile a little, and you do attend Ringling. I graduated in '09 (PDI). My besty is CA though... she interned junior year and now works for Pixar. Great work!

It's not supposed to be an actual short film, this was just an exercise to show a character pushing/pulling something. So it doesn't really have a story to it. xD

I've been interested in that school and Full Sail! But they're both so expensive. Even though my parents do make a decent amount of money, even they go "Whoa!" when they hear the prices of tuition for those schools. 'Tis the curse of being the youngest kid and seeing all but one of your older siblings go all the way through college. So now I'm probably gonna end up going to a cheaper school after I get my A.A. and getting my BFA in Graphic Design with a focus in Animation. I guess I'll take what I can get.

Awww that sucks. Yeah, tuition here is CRAZY expensive, but I think it's worth it because so many companies come to recruit here, so getting a decent job is pretty much guaranteed.
