Alrite, I made a bloody tutorial
It is focusing mainly on the technique of making bloodsplatters on a picture without ruining anything, which I know many people are worrying about. I could make a separate ink tutorial if anyone would want it, and explain the techniques I use more accurately (: (With better pics)
Hope you'll like it even if it's sloppy and weird and lacking of pictures.
And it's a huge file
(or not that huge, but... it ain't small either

Typo corrections:
Part 2, line 7: "biggest"
Part 5, line 10: "already"
Part 6, line 1: "acrylics" or "acrylic paint"
Tip: I wouldn't suggest that you use acrylics for highlights, rather take the gel pen or white ink. Acrylics are too thick and hard to apply in small details (you'd also have to apply many layers of it), and if you thin white acrylics out with water, you'll just have some weird, transparentish white shite laying around. We don't like D:

Was the paper already that light brown color or did you use pastels to make it that color?

Pastels, as it says. I was shaving the pastels to make dust on the paper and then I mixed it with a big, soft brush and a little bit of water

Oh! Well, I don't have the resources on my comp to be able to use those brushes. I once had a trial version of photoshop (many of them, PS7, Elements, CS3...) but in the end I was too lazy downloading a full one, and too broke to buy any :'D (Still the same :'< I only use comp for editing scans anyway (: )
And I have been experimenting a lot with splattering paint for various effects (: Acrylics is simply the best, when you use a bit of water it's not too thick ;> Or too thin and loose, like watercolors :>

I tried to make "real" splats, but I think I'm too greedy to splat my originals. I'm afraid to harm them...) What about PS-I mostly like to colour my works by hands. I use PS to splat images, photomanipulate, and, of course, editing scans...)

I may need to try this in art class, except it scares me to splash red stuff on a drawing I like O_o. I should give it shot though

The red splashing is before drawing
So don't be afraid about that.
Besides, worrying about destroying a drawing makes it look nervous in the end

You can stain other colors on it too, Like... black 8D *lol*
and that basic paint with pastels and stuff is kinda' useful when making ink things too
