Description For NationStates; Modeled in DoGa in a couple hours while listening to... Things.

----

The 'Onager'-Type Intermodal Armored Utility Vehicle is the combat-capable 'upgrade' to the 'Coonhound' hover tractor-trailer rig. Reasonably armored and speedy, it is one of those essential elements that fills out much of the OSA's battlefield logistics chain. It can carry two 40-foot shipping containers side-by-side in an open well that can then be loaded and unloaded by means of a pair of cranes and a powerful winch mounted just at the front of the well. These containers can then be fitted out with a variety of systems or just stuffed full of the usual things an army on the move needs.

This particular depiction is just such an example. The shipping containers have been fitted out with drone launch cells and a control system for those same. VLS cells, field surgery suites, automated ammunition loaders, mobile kitchens... Whatever someone can cram into a shipping container. The Onager can technically carry a stack of two though three is really pushing it. This would still allow the OSA to do silly things like carry and field surface-to-orbit missile batteries if they were so inclined, but who would do that?

A bunch of angry bunnies mad at the assholes who drove them from their homeworld, that's who.

The command cabin is mostly copied from the 'Tapani' Combat Engineering Vehicle, so check that out if you're interested. Additionally it carries a pair of pivoting grenade launchers for smoke, utility smoke, and party smoke, as well as two turret mounts with limited rotation that can mount small or medium weapon systems - this one mounts four SRM-6's two-by-two. They also make a good complement to the 'Tapani' and OSA Combat Engineering Teams will often have one that has been fitted out with a workshop and spare parts storage.
