SO lookie who is late to the train and finally getting around to posting a Fangem?
Those whom follow my tumblr will know I actually posted one of these a few months back:

However, I wasn't content with the original design thus it never made it to my deviantart page. I've been working on this off and on for some time just scraping together the different images for the reference, overall it's been sitting in my computer at least from around the middle of June. While this started as a 'gemsona' Ametrine is not very much like me at all. funny enough she's basically my complete opposite!

Ametrine is a very calm character, usually indifferent to most situations and having a great deal of tolerance to annoying scenarios, and people. Classifying her to three words, calm, kind, and stubborn. She is a warrior class gem originally from home world before she chose to abandon her station and being whisked off to some primitive world by a kindergarten gem known as: Amber. For the most part she just spends her time with that said 'gem', and taking each day at a time.

Ametrine, Ame for short, doesn't mind the somewhat clingy companion she has acquired. However that is not to say that she is bothered by solitude either, she is most accustomed to being alone honestly. Often times you might find her muttering to herself under her breath, practically having a full conversation by herself about a multitude of subjects. Though once someone notices, she stops and goes on about what she had been doing before hand. Discretely letting the abnormal behavior be dropped off as just that, abnormal, and unimportant.

Ametrine's weapon is to put it lightly, her hair. The strands being like razor sharp wires, able to entwine her surroundings in a net of traps and slice her opponents apart if they become trapped in her grasps. Best way to describe them is to say, when when used as a weapon, her hair is much like monomolecular/monofilament wires. The best example of which being Walter from the anime Hellsing if anyone has watched that gorefest of a vampire show. Now with that briefly explained; imagine how many hair brushes she must break!
