Mmm, I tried once before to make pixel art in photoshop but the lines came out too soft. How did yours come out in actual pixels?

either you use the pencil tool, or if youre using the pentool there's an option that can remove the 'smoothness', its called anti-alias i think.

I think, with the pen tool, I could just set the stroke to pencil, right?
I was using the brush tool. So that would explain the smooth lines, and anti-pixel love. q.q

nice art! nice tut too. what resolution did you have your art done? and does the pixelized effect differ by resolution? is it also on JPEG format or GIF? I'll be trying to make myself one too... can't wait! thanks!

i had it saved in PNG format, coz that's the only format i know that doesnt at all affect resolution.
