Isn't it obvious? The So-Bad-It's-ood(?), I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-a-Parody Strawberry Panic! Oh SP!, that Krispy Kreme Donut Burger of girls love. D:

1. Somehow, somehow I knew those would be your favorite. Although Main Character Girl is the one I had trouble doing her hair highlights and ended taking a third (fourth?) option and airbrushed it. NATURALLY, the little pink frill on their shirts is because they're the freshman. And I had the idea that the tie/scarf/whatever is color-coded to show their year. But Ms. Class Prez doesn't wear hers...?

2. "No, not until you order a pizza to make up for the one you ruined >: I"

3. Shoulder/elbows pads are because I didn't think skin-tight mecha leotards would do much against abrasion?? I don't know about the green guy either! I know very little about most of these characters. Is he depressed or sociopathic??

4. HOW APPROPRIATE: I had the second most fun making her! I have decided that girl with her is actually a SHARK turned human as part of a government conspiracy. But she doesn't know because she has AMNESIA as is necessary for the role. So what a COINCIDENCE that she teams up with a gunslinger codenamed SHARK.

5. ;__; THAT'S GOOD. Such troublesome hair though! Maybe the council itself but that blue-haired girl would definitely get herself a crown and throne. And use her awesome authoritative skills to intimidate some freshman into serving as her lackeys.

6. OH, yeah, the bundled wires. I TOTALLY wasn't desperate to fill in some empty space I didn't know what to do with. D: I'm terrible with robots, I really was just making it up as I went!

7. Haha. That's cool! It's like the popular consensus made a compromise with me, the most popular ones are BOTH the one I put in a lot of effort and think came out the best AND... the one I just kinda winged through and expected to just kinda fall FLAT. Although those other gunmen WOULD have been more distinct if I had more confidence in my ability to draw silhouettes *cough* I can't decide if the girl in blue is a princess or WHAT. Seriously I know so little about most of these guys and girls.

8. I pulled it off by drawing two and cramming the last half of the themes into the text bubbles. MAN, OKAY, so I've got it figured out. The blue-haired girl is some homeless ragamuffin, and the girl in green is the headmaster's daughter, but not actually a cadet in the academy. THEY FIGHT CRIME.

I KINDA THOUGHT IT WAS THAT but I didn't know for sure, just because it's such a hilarious topic of conversation? Ooooh, guilty pleasure.

1. That is both hilarious, charming, and sort of sad. ANYWAY it was a really nice effect! Kind of like the stuff you did in that Hawkeye drawing? So the little pink frills symbolise "HIT THIS<~~>FRESH MEAT". That is a really neat system though, but the fact that Ms. Prez kind of defys it says...a lot about her, to say the least. Do you get an awesome sweater when you become a senior, or is that reserved for being the big lady on campus hoarded by half the student body?

3. Mayhaps those leotards are made of SUPER SPECIAL ULTRA MATERIAL FROM THE FUTURE. Or future lifeforms just DON'T NEED EM in the future, as that nice man without the shirt is showing us. Poor green guy. Depressed or sociopathic (or both) would be pretty interesting anyway!

4. I'm guessing that the people in 7 were your favorite to make, or was it something else? I kind of wonder what kind of personality a shark turned into a girl would have! Though that certainly puts an interesting spin on the classic girls with guns motif (and it makes standing in the water so SYMBOLIC). Those EVIL government agents turning aquatic lifeforms into humans! How low will they stoop?!

5. It does look like a pain! I only recently discovered just how hard it is to outline that sort of blowing-all-over-the-place long hair! D: And good to know that the student council in that school truely cares about the student body and doesn't just blow around all their power for giant parties and to mess with the heads of a bunch of freshmen.

6. If it was a desperate attempt to fill in some empty space, than it was desperatly...filled with STYLE. Which makes it all the more impressive to manage to pop it out!

7. What a strange twist of popular opinion. Though if it's the one you pust the most time in, I'm proud to call it my favorite! As for the second, I guess they just fell for the charm of giant robots, glowy stuff, and cute girls? I dunno. (And they look fine to me!). Either a princess or...some sort of noble do-gooder? With a wooden shotgun?

8. But text-bubble implication only adds to the hilarity! So the headmaster won't even let his own daughter attend the school? What a heartless bastard! Though the win points of this whole thing skyrocketed just in the fact that THEY FIGHT CRIME.

It is a hilarious topic of conversation that keeps cropping out, defeating the purpose of trying to act like I haven't watched the series. Twice. OF COURSE it was already made hopeless when I drew fan art.

1. Actually I used some of Painter's oil brushes for Hawkeye! WOW it really has been a while since I combined & conquered with airbrushing and flats. OH DEAR. I have unintentionally marked all the young and naive girls for convenient targeting! DAMMIT, no, no, this whole system is getting too interesting. MUSTN'T... DEVELOP.. FURTHER... I didn't really think about the sweater/jacket/cardigan/blazer, I just thought she would wear it even it hot weather because she needs to maintain this aura of dignity. Regalia?

4. YES. Well, mostly the pink-haired elf woman in a leather jerkin. Because I love pink hair, elf ears, and those warm colors. I have no idea, I've never gotten personally familiar with a shark.

7. The glow effect IS pretty cheap to use, except I think it's really neat too. I takes so much restraint not to abuse it... Hey, maybe she's a nun! D: She's supposed to be wielding a(n) (h)arquebus, but DANG even old guns are hard to draw.

8. He can't have his delicate flower of a daughter join the military academy and learn to fight! She could get hurt! ACH, I said the fight crime thing as a I joke. D: I think they would have to fight some other nation or something for big armour mecha battles?

I suppose that it's a good point, and I certainly am a little uneasy to admit that I may OR MAY NOT have binged and pretty much watched the entire series during finals week. Both finals weeks. ER BUT I suppose that the only option is to take it by heart and MAKE IT COOL. STRAWBERRY PANIC. IT IS BADASS, AM I RIGHT?

1. Ah, now that I think of it, Hawkeyes were a lot more sort of solid, but these have a much softer inflection for the SUPAH SHOJO. WELL admitedly, I doubt age would really stop them. OH HEY THEY LOOK CUTE AND UNCORRUPTED. Ah well, it certainly makes her look really cool, so it MUST be for the sake of looking like a dignified and noble lady. WITH A SWORD.

4. She does look the coolest though, admitedly. I like her shirt design the best of everything here. I think thanks to you, I'm slowy starting to get this idea of pink hair=instant badassery. Well, surely she is a majestic and delicate girl, as all sharks are.

7. Aaaah, but aren't things wonderful when they come at the magical combo of dirt cheep and really, really cool? WHOA A NUN WOULD ACTUALLY BE VERY COOL. She's got the classic FE Blue-White holy person combo. Hot shiz! Ah ha, I think I need to book up on my gun types. AND THEY ARE HARD THE LITTLE STINKERS.

8. Oh my, I didn't think of it that way! I feel like a jerk now! I could have thrown a sweet-natured pacifist off to war! BAD PL. Oh ho, I think I was merely praising the joke. They seem like the type that would go joyriding in their Daddy's giant armorbot rather than SAVE THE WORLD.

XD Strawberry Panic!: So Bad it's Bad Ass?

1. YES, but in the super-cliched all-girl shoujo-ai freshman AND cute and uncorrupted go hand-in-hand. They're the adorable little girls who have to take up domestic duties and form squealing fan clubs around their senpais.

4. It's a BOLD color that demands respect! I WOULD agree, but sharks have recently received a blow to their MAJESTY. ;______;

7. ALL RIGHT. She was a pious woman of cloth until she somehow get tangled up with some kind of elf... bounty hunter... Robin Hood... something... and now she's still a kind person but DANGEROUS.

8. WELL yes, sweet-natured pacifist according to her dad. Ah dang, I'm sorry I killed your joke. ;_; YES yes, I'm getting a hang of the world but having trouble with the PLOTZ, like everything.

HELL YES IT IS. If shojo-ais were all in a shojo-ai, SP! would be the over-the-top seme runing around with a ton of other shows on the side and a long will-they-or-won't-they with Marimite (while Shake Sweet would be the same to the less pressured, more intelligently written betta couple, maybe with Revolutionary Girl Utena if they wanted to go the angsty route).

1. AH, AN EXCELLENT POINT. In that case, mayhaps they made the frills in mind so they'd match the maid aprons better? It's like the cycle of life, in a bizarre sort of way!

4. I didn't think of it that way, but YEAH. Pink has had a bad rep for way too long! A blow to their majesty? Did something happen?!

7. She's clearly being hunted by some sort of rival sect! Or her denomination has refused to support the TYRANICAL rule of a mad king who wants to sue a bunch of books that make you go insane if you so much as brush upon them! Somehow! So she needs the nice elf-Robin-hood lady to help protect her! AND SHE BECOMES BEWARE THE NICE ONE AWESOME.

Nothing is immediately coming to mind. But there's so many characters in the franchise it just might be impossible for me to avoid. Oddly enough I keep thinking the blue-haired girl looks like Ricardo (FE 1/3) but that is... No. Just no. THANK YOU I'LL TRY!

I have the same problem, except not fitting them into one story. I just feel compelled to flesh them out, give them a setting and other characters to interact with. I've already really gotten into the duo in #8 simply because so many people have expressed interest(!!? It was my least favorite!)

YES. I DID NOT SPENT TEN MINUTES TRYING TO FIND AN ACCEPTABLE HAIR COLOR THAT WASN'T WHITE AND/OR SILVER...ish.

But she's not the school president! And doesn't run around molesting everyone! And indecent amounts of angst!
