Description
*Strigoi are malicious parasitic spirits. They can take hold in a dying person, most often a child. Possession starts out dormant, and the host will generally recover like normal; but if the strigoi wakes up it will fight for control. Signs of dormant possession are surviving likely fatal injuries, and bone spurs or “horns” as a physical reaction to the strain of repressing the strigoi from taking control. The only sure way to kill both the host and parasite is dismemberment. If only the host dies, the strigoi takes over.

Edit: Trying to get around to adding alternate forms to my shapeshifter characters' pages. At least the main ones. Kind of been lacking in time to lately, we'll see what happens or if I can manage to work on anything else in the meantime...
