I absolutely love the glitter effect, it's so pretty!!

Great make-up and costume btw!

Thank you, I think the glitter really sets the paint off well. I had to lean over completely with my face over a mirror to dab the glitter on the wet makeup to set it. Otherwise, I ended up with green glitter all over the rest of my face and it wasn't pretty. Impossible to remove....very fine glitter, something I got at the local costume/makeup shop.

Yeah, I love working with glitter and diamontes too...I originally was inspired by Las Vegas Showgirls and Mardi Gras costumes for that idea...just like you...hehe.

Hmm, I just mentioned my way of applying glitter in the last message. Try my idea of mixing glitter with gel and applying wet on dry, once it sets it really stays on and this method is also less messy and gives a more precise application if you use a paint brush.

That is a FANTASTIC tip, thank you! What kind of gel do you use?

BeccyBex In reply to only-zuul [2007-06-17 08:06:50 +0000 UTC]

I use regular hair gel, the thinner the better. I'm sure it's not good for you...but we don't do it everyday...or do we...lol.

LOL, that's fantastic! Can you recommend a brand?

BeccyBex In reply to only-zuul [2007-06-21 10:34:11 +0000 UTC]

Well, I'm not sure if you would have the brands I use over there. Try Garnier hair gel...anything works really...just as long as it's not too thick!

slightly manipd? you mean that flying glitter isnt real?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

only-zuul In reply to ninjakittykat [2006-04-08 14:53:02 +0000 UTC]

There's an added lense flare, I cleaned up some of the lines of my makeup, obscured some of the background and added some (not all) sparkles. But yes, there was no flying glitter. Sadly.

ok. I'm going to sound like a dog here, so I apologize in advance.

There's something about the breasts here, even though there in shadow, that keeps drawing my eye down to your chest. It might be the line of the necklace -- it might even be the shadowing effect. I'm not certain. I might have liked this better if it were cropped a touch higher.

Love the makeup -- over the top, way out there. The sparkles are a nice touch!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

only-zuul In reply to ayehli [2005-11-09 18:46:11 +0000 UTC]

LOL! I must have my monitor setting different, because on my monitor, the breasts (other than the highlighted portion) are almost lost to shadow.

Ah, well. I hardly, barely, have any boobs at all in real life, so for me the fact that my corset-given breasts are drawing the eye isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Thank you, as always, for the feedback!
