Description
Me as Glinda the Good Witch from the Wizard of Oz. I made my sleeves and crown from scratch - the crown, in fact, started off as black poster board that I cut and taped and sprayed and adorned. The skirt came from GoodWill (but I already owned it as it was something I'd worn to the ballet before) and the petticoat under it was a leftover from high school homecoming dances - back when the girls used to still dress like southern belles. The corset is my old tried and true Victoria's Secret corset that has seen MUCH wear and tear, but still manages to make my boobs look great, so HAIL to VC and their corsets.Underneath it, I'm wearing black socks and hightops.

I did. It was a lame neighborhood party where we ate hot dogs and drank cokes, but it was still fun. Seeing the kids trick or treat was fun.

Well, you dressed up and got out and that's all that counts...Hallowe'en should be a national holiday, don't you think?

Wonderful. Absolutely gorgeous. I can see here again your amazing, fascinating, pretty, distinctive smile.
The costume is magnificient. It's incredible to know that you've completely done using also old stuff. It seems a professional production.

Definitely a great costume. I like the wig, mind if I borrow it?
Pity I didn't do a full picture of my own costume, just my face and a little bit of the tophat. I think I had another one somewhere on the laptop where a glove managed to pop in and cover my mouth and I have that mischevious look about me.
I like it. And the corset looks great. *thumbs up*

You can totally borrow my wig! Do you want me to mail it when I send the earrings? It's a cheap fun wig, not any kind of real wig. I have several, some nicer than others, but this one is really fun.
You need more photos of your costumes, yes!!

Ah, but I won't have a chance. Tonight I am to fix up the jacket and tophat to take back to the rental place tomorrow.
You don't have to send me the wig, I feel bad enough you're sending my earrings (and we're back to the whole equilibrium sort of thing).

It's just a loaner. When you're done with it, mail it back!

*hails Victoria's Secret*
So in regards to your poll, did you take your daughter out, while being dressed up? I can picture you two fighting over the wings and the wand
"Mommy, they're MY wings, give them to me"
"Oh shush, princess; we'll split, I wear the wings, and you can have the MAGIC WAND"

LOL! She had her own wings - made of REAL feathers (no other kids had real wings!) - but given that she broke her first wand and lost her second, I did fear for my own wand. I have now hidden it from her to save for when she's a little older!! The first two were like 50 cents; this one was I think $8.
And yes, HAIL VC!!
