The star effect is a nifty little filter I have called "constellation" that will make anything into stars. I love it, but hardly find a use for it.

I have a light in Lila's room that is of "The Little Prince" that I got in Paris years ago. I tell her every night that Mommy brought that home from Paris for her, and that Paris is very far away. I told her that we will go there someday. She says "now? now?" and I say, "later, when you're older". She likes to say "Paris". Maybe one day we'll meet you there!

There's something very angelic about this photo. It goes beyond the glitter...maybe it's that your eyes are closed and you have a bemused, contented look on your face. I don't know, but the effect is quite lovely.

I was doing fantasy makeup when I was 11, 12, maybe younger, and just grew into wilder drag queen type makeup. I've learned a LOT in my adulthood from the Kevyn Aucoin books, especially "Making Faces". I have several books on stage makeup, but mostly I refer to photos of drag queens and the Aucoin books, as well as just generally playing. Love to play with makeup. Sometimes I do it just for fun, not even to go out.
