Description This is a really old one that I dug up in an attempt to clear out some junk from an old desk.

I think I did it in 2004, but I'm not entirely sure.

I think it gives him alot of character....an otherworldly sort of stare.

Thanks.

I'm a bit of a texture hound in my job, so I think it permeates into drawings.

How did you get such a dusky texture to the colors here? It's beautiful, it all combines for a wonderful mood of something near desperation from her, and a strange sort of detachment from Erik. I love her face and the other colors you used to tone it. I love the use of both color and inking to tone this, and how you can see both without either being overpowered. It's really a woonderful piece.

Wow. glad you like it so much.

It's been crumpled away in a drawer for awhile. I really didn't think of it as particularly good.

Erm, as far as the technical stuff goes, I used my usual prismacolor pens and colored pencil accents. I mixed alot of light french greys into the skintones and shaded over with more grey and black colored pencil.

... This is all pencil? No marker? Damn. I don't have anywhere near the patience to work something that much with just pencil.

No no, the base colors are in marker. The augmentation is a mix.

Alright... I thought that looked like marker. Cool.
