Description
The Sun. Lord of the day, light and all things that balance out Selene. Son of Hyperion and Thyea. Brother of Selene and Eos. Considered a Titan, along with his siblings, as they were born furing the rule of the Titans. But Helios is seen as an Olympian God. With the sun, Nutrients and energy blesses the earth and gives strength and rise to both flora and fauna, including us humans. The young and most handsome god that took over the reigns (literally) of the sun from Aether and his father Hyperion. Master of a grand herd of winged horses as well as cattle and goats. Despite what many claim Helios and Apollon have nothing in common. While Apollon does have an association for the sun, his roll is much different than Helios, whose main attribute is the sun and all it's worth. And yet, people often confuse the two of them.

As Eos is, as I consider, my "God Mother" so Helios is my "God Father." He was the second deity that ever embraced me. And he has been the reference for much of my art in the past, from small wood statues, to art like this. Helios here is basked and crowned in the glory of the sun's light, wearing a golden yellow himation with orange details. The details are that of winged horses and Verginia Stars/Suns. And of course, his shield is emblazed with 4 of his main winged horses.
