Description (Thiis is out of order for a reason which I will explain in a journal entry later)

Zeus (Sometimes Deos) is indeed the king of kings, ruler of mortals and immortals alike. The lord supreme. Zeus is the All Father, the patrons of Judges, Lawyers, Bailiffs, Executioners and Courthouses, and all that work withing judicial systems as well as the patron of all forms of royalty and heads of state. Zeus can also be seen as the deliverer of Kharmic Justice as well. On a softer note, he is also the patrons of father and the god of fatherhood. He is the patron of the home and the city. Zeus is also the lord of the skies, air and storms. Zeus has MANY attributes in his name.

With so many classic depictions of my lordship, it would be hard to choose just one or two to work from. Media-wise I never cared for portrayals of Zeus. They always depicted Zeus as a grumpy old grandfather. But one depiction stands out to me the most and that is an art piece done by Giovanni Casseli. His depiction is that of a fatherly figure and it was from that where I draw my own depiction and how I see My Lord and Savoir Zeus. Younger and stronger. His himation I draw on from some pottery art as well as his staff. The pattern of the Sirens and Eagles depict his lofty attributes. His staff thrown I wanted to give something less radiant and more strength. The foundation of it is a seat for royalty from the theater at Epidaurus. It is decorated with friezes of Nike and Zelos on each side.  And then we come to Periphas, Zeus' Immoral Golden Eagle. Little can be said there, outside the fact that I used the proper 'European Golden Eagle" and not the bald eagle of the America's. As to the Shield. It would be so easy to have put the typical eagle in the middle but I wanted something different. Instead, I chose to center it with the two Litae (prayer goddesses) whom I have always had a deep connection with.

Oh and no crown. Zeus was rarely depicted with a crown. Most of the time he wore a fillet or headband in classical art. So I compromised and gave him a crowning aura (Yes very Clash of the Titans-isk: A film which made me who I am)
