Deviantart was Screwing up and wouldn't let me update the original file. But I knew that I needed to change many more things on a fundamental level. So I thought, Eh, what the heck. Nothing is stopping me. I'm just gonnaΒ remake everything that needs to be remade, and then I'm gonna let the color fixes show for themselves here.Ironically it's thanks to DeviantArt itself I was able to do this without completely starting from scratch. I lost access to the original photoshop file ages ago as well as the program itself. Thank God I uploaded the original as a photoshop file and not a PNG cause I had access to every individual thing from 2017 right off the bat.
Super Chu and Glaceon now both have propper shadows, Pikachu is shifted slightly more into her grip, and I smoothed out a lot of the rough textures to Glaceon's fur.
And of course now there's a much better background than before.
Edit: Okay, much more satisfied with this now. First I manually brushed all across Glaceon's Furr to smoothen all of the rough texturising out, then I skewed, detached, and relayerd Pikachu's cape, tail and left foot to make it look more natural, and I manually drew in some outer lining for Glaceon on spots where it was missing. After that, I added inner shadows to both Pikachu and Glaceon to better set the mood lighting, and I adjusted both of their drop shadows as well. This looks MUCH better.

Might I suggest taking a look at the Super Chu story? It hasn't been updated in a year cause I'm a procrastinating moron which is sad because litetally the entire story outline was completed several years ago but I am getting back into it this month. It can be found in the IceSpark Writing tab in the Group and on my profile.

Just a minor nitpick. Glaceon's pupils are blue when they should be white. Otherwise it looks much better. They blend a lot better.

That's a result of the blending changes done to the image as a whole from a while ago. I can fix that in a jiffy.

In any case, the way I would edit Daxter's Fur in the past was similar to how I touched up on Glaceon here. I'd directly select the yellow and change it to orange, then follow through the same pattern with a shaded Orange for the yellow shadows. Much easier to effect spots directly than messing with different lighting effects for a meh result.

This format has been forced upon all new users and the normal deviantart, the one that WORKS that we use, isn't even accessible to them. This is deviantart. And eventually everyone will be forced to convert.
Roleplays are essentially not possible anymore, as Threaded is the ONLY way comments exist now and you can'd go to a specific part or anything like that as shown in the first image, and it only goes to the same extent that a threaded RP does, And it only fits FIVE comments and you can't read beyond that, even if you select some read more option it'll just load the next comment and remove the next one mandating an ENTIRELY new page algorithm wise.
Folders are no longer accessible, which is something they have literally ZERO plans to change, the arrangement and general interface is genuinely terrible in the majority of places in the website and isn't user friendly AT ALL. You can't even click on the majority of things in the website link wise because the URL's are literally different and not supported upon the different versions.
RolePlays are unreadable, submissions don't work in the same light. even when you select on comment chains it just selects the exact same information without even displaying ANY of the other comments and no matter how far you go, the comments won't last a whole RP. there's no page select option for comments on the image itself, or in the chain, and some people can't click on anything at all. And I do mean ANYTHING, as in no part of the website is functional for these people.
DeviantArt will force this on EVERYONE eventually, every new deviant has this as their default and can't select the normal website, they refuse to fix these problems, and they're even worse than what I've shown off so far, there's so much that I haven't even gone into...to the point where the website, genuinely breaks constantly because it's source coding clashes with the changes they're trying to make, which they also refuse to address, and different admins and owners of the site have publicly said they don't plan on fixing pretty much any of this.

I have yet to see how they're "forcing" everyone to do this. None of my stuff looks like that or behaves like that. Plus if they get enough complaints, they'll have to change it or fix it leat the risk loosing hundreds of their accounts.

Nope. Every single "new" user has had this forced on them and they don't even have the option to go back to the normal website. The website is like this permanently for them. They've publicly come out and said they'll phass out the regular site entirely and hundreds of people have complained already. I've at least seen over a dozen complaints over the past week and a half or so.

Different admins of the website have come out and said that they're going to eventually phase the old website out entirely and again, new Users don't even have the option to switch back and forth anymore. And even on their vague and not at all helpful faq page it even says new users have this and can't change it.
This has been going on all year, I don't know how you've not known about it. There's been a bazillion different notices for it.

Any new major update is going to come with it's own problems. And by the time they force everyone to switch I'm sure most of the problems will be worked out. I've already heard evidence that they're listening to feedback forms people are turning in.
