MISTY- Special guest ~xpuddycatx talks about her outfit

Wig: Bought and styled by both my sister and ~chrysocome
Top: Made by myself, used press studs to close on the shoulders as material wasn't stretchy. The guy at the cosplay comp asked if I had just cut a top, which was rather annoying because of the work I put in >.>
Suspenders: Bought red...whatever it's called, made triangles with the material I had for the top. Sewed buttons onto the inside of my shorts and a loop of elastic on the ends of the suspenders so the triangles didn't "attach" to the shorts (like the anime)
Shorts: I know they're the wrong colour, but it's rather difficult to find shorts in the right colour in winter!
Shoes: Bought from Ruby Shoes, unpicked some stuff and painted with Setacolour. See comparison picture here: [link]
Bag: Red material, need to remake it better. The strap was held on with sewing and a pin, and the pin decided to unpin and scratch my arm a couple of times >.>
Togepi: I know it looks bad, but I am so proud of her. I made her without knowing much about making toys, and I plan on doing her again. But I had to get her done :]
I need to do more on Misty to make her more accurate to the anime (wig, bag, Togepi, shorts), but I was happy with how she turned out on the day :]
