cover illustrations by Sabrina Cotugno, 4th grade : )[um! apparently there needs to be some clarification.... I am not actually in fourth grade, nor was I attempting to impersonate a fourth grader! I just made a joke and I didn't think anyone would actually take it seriously. 8| I made this piece using an intentionally simplistic style that would match the simplistic style of storytelling found in the Twilight series. I did not steal this from a fourth grader! Sorry for the . . . confusion?]

Bella looks so p*ssed off in the first 3, but in the last one she's actually happy she became a vampire and had a vampire child.

Well, I do havta say that the only teensiest bit of narrative tension in the whole series is, "When is Edward gonna make Bella a vampire already??" And at the very least, it does deliver that at the end. Given that the entire rest of the series is such a long, drawn out cocktease, I'm surprised they were able to resolve THAT much!

So true. My friends made me read the series since they were sure I'd change my mind about it after I'd read it. I didn't. It was just dragged out for so long and you're right, the only form of tension that made you want to read was "When the hell is she gonna become a vampire?!". The only thing I thought after I read the end was 'Wow...that's it?' *sigh*
