These tutorials are confusing to me. That could just be because I'm just starting digital painting but I'm not actually sure what I'm supposed to be doing with these tutorials. :/

Yeah, I explain it a little more in the tutorial below. Pretty sure it's one of Photoshop's standard brushes.

Not sure about the nose, about 1/2 hour maybe.... Approx 20 hours for full portrait.

Your tutorials are incredible! I can't wait to get my new tablet, as my old one doesn't have the "pressure" thingy so it's kind of like a mouse, horrible to work on that. :/ Once I'll start drawing anything, I'll for sure use your tutorials!
