I love the tutorial and everything very much~* Thank you!
But i'm not sure about the light reflections in her eyes.. From far away they aren't noticeably hard, like they look in the tutorial. So It's not a problem or anything, I was wondering, if you always make your highlights in an oval shape, or does it depend on what your subject is looking at?

Hi, no prob. Eye reflections are always (or mostly) different. In this case, Britney was most likely in a photo-shoot with various lighting on all sides, which then reflect in the eyes resulting in an unusual effect. You could possibly get a similar effect if a ring flash was used (a circular flash positioned around the camera lens).

Oh! I see. Thanks for clarifying. And now that you mention it, it does look like she's a model. lls
Thanks for the info~!*

Oh.. and to answer your question... I don't always make my eye reflections like this (refer my other portraits)

Another great tutorial! The bit about not worrying about getting the details perfect when zoomed in super close is really great advice.
