Well, here he is again: One step closer to logic, I can't imagine why I thought a more or less solid shade of dull gold could possibly be fitting.... [link] Ack. At any rate, he looks just a hair more believable, even if his mane appears a little superfluous here.
Oh, and yes, I acknowledge how "strange" his gold coat is to begin with, but it is an anomaly and is rare among his tribe.Any thoughts or suggestions you may have on his coloration are very welcome.

what is the font you use for his name....it's really pretty. You can really see the athletisism in his body and how he would be able to jump and move with ease. It's great because pallanophs are significantly different from any real creature and yet they are not so outlandish that you couldn't imagine them existing somewhere and being able to function well. They just make sense.

the fur and the hair are absolutely amazing! and the gold color feels so alive, I love it. Very dynamic creature you have here

He looks pretty believable to me! Well, he looks a tad skinny, but other than that a plausible creature.
I love his ears, very cute, they remind me of a deer's ears which are of course the cutest ears out there.

so it's a species you invented? i've tryed to figure out what parts did you use. something between cheetah ,cause of the body /dog -body + tail /horse-cause of the mane / human alike-eyes/ goat -chin? ears -maybe rabbit?

It is indeed!
I didn't use any "specific" parts here, though this species did develop over many years out of my knowledge of basic animal anatomy, and is more or less a blend of carnivorous and herbivorous anatomy.
And you're right: there are some human-like traits in his design, particularly the face.

I find it intriguing how very humanlike his face seems to be. I think it's the eyes.

You're not mistaken, it's totally the eyes. I draw quite a bit of my inspiration from the human face, even if I still can't draw human faces realistically.

If I ever met a pallanoph, I might be a bit creeped out by how human they look xD It's pretty awesome, though, and it really works.
