please help! ive gone everywhere and no one has mentioned this. i cannot scan the screen tones on to my photoshop! why? when i scan the screentones become awful looking. i tried to scan in greyscale and it was better but then all the dirt and pencils become visible. please teach me!

you can use photoshop to fix them na~
scan gray scale not use auto contrast at 300-600 dpi

then33
image > adjustment > brightness/contrast > set to 20-30/70-90[up to you]
then it will look more clean

Wonderful tutorial! Thank you so much!! And you don't have to worry so much about your English. I've looked at all of your tutorials and sure you've made some grammar mistakes but a lot of people do that.

What's important is that people understand what you're saying! Now excuse me while I go bask in some Renji ness

I am confused on the part about selecting the place you want to screen and how you drag it over..! I really am, please explain a bit more? Since when I did doesn't seem to be working. I (on the canvas I want the screen to be on) painted the whole thing red on a new layer and erased the parts I wanted to screen then dragged it over to the screen canvas, but then how in the world do I move it back from the screen canvas onto the comic?

pandabaka In reply to minimouse95 [2009-02-09 00:01:08 +0000 UTC]

err... maybe very late... just click and draw it to other canvas but if it not work you can use copy and paste >_<"

Wow. I screen tone quite differently, but this way makes much more sense! lol! Anyway, i really like how you added a shadowy-tone thing on Renjis bankai behind the bankai... ah, you know what i mean! it looks cool!
