Description
I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that we've become tired of the cliched overly critical and cynical internet reviewer shtick that has been around for almost 10 years now.Not that there is anything wrong with being critical. On the contrary, as fans we HAVE to be critical of the things we love because we want them to do better but there is a difference between looking at a piece of media and saying what it does well and what it does not and only looking at the negative things while also being snobby and condescending to anyone that is more positive about it. Which is why I vastly prefer CinemaWins over CinemaSins
Whether it's CinemaSins, most of Channel Awesome or any self proclaimed internet reviewer that has modeled him or herself after those guys, it's over guys. The angry/nitpicking reviewer days are basically over and thanks to people like CinemaWins, ProJared, SomecallmeJohnny, The Completionist, Il Neige, Caddicarus, The Dom, Maximilian Dood and many others we have seen the rise of reviewers that yes, are critical and sometimes negative BUT they go at from a vastly more positive angle. All for the better honestly.

So much yes! I discovered CinemaWins when I watched his Batman v Superman video. He made some pretty fair counterarguments to the criticisms that movie got, which made me so happy. His videos about the Star Wars prequels were great, too.
Ever since last year, I've grown both weary and disheartened by the intense critical attitude people were having about certain movies, as well as the mentality some notable critics on the web have. The kind of negativity they project is just so toxic, even if it's done for comical effect. So finding someone like CinemaWins feels like such a relief.

I like both of them. Videos like "Everything Wrong With 'Pete's Dragon'" are pretty damn funny (because of Jeremy pretty much pausing the review and messaging his friend because he made him see the film on a dare), but the Wins are the Wins.

I get what you mean. I honestly felt this way when CinemaSins did an Everything Wrong With video on Sing. Now, I'm not saying that film's not without flaws, but as someone who's watched it a few times, I could easily point out times where Jeremy got his facts wrong or explain some of the questions he asked involving the characters actions.
