I can't be the only one that's sick and tired of people creating these online petitions to get something cancelled or change something because they don't like it. It's egotistical and selfish because you're not thinking about other people that do want it. That's even besides the fact that these things NEVER WORK! Is Cloud still in Smash 4? Is Federation Force still being made? Yes? Then why bother continuing with this crap? Get over yourself, stop whining and do something fun or productive with your life. And if not then you can bite my shiny metal ass and waste more of your timeRelated content

Minecraft Steve is no character because he has no expressions and is an empty shell of an avatar. That's why there are zero chances of Steve.

No joke, one time I saw and signed a petition about a kid who went to jail for defending himself and the petition was to bail him out. Then the petition turned out to be a hoax. I repeat, sexual harassment, juvenile detention, families being separated, and the grayer areas of self-defense violence, in a poorer country no less, all fabricated for notes on Tumblr. I was FURIOUS and swore off Change.org. Now I rarely sign petitions from it, and only if I know for a fact that the thing it's protesting is true.

THB, I created an online petition called "Sega, please, release Sega vs. Capcom fighting game". I created it, because of facts and because community usually thinks that "Sonic" is the only Sega series. But Β Sega has many forgotten franchises. And they are highly unlikely to be resurrected in their home series due to restructurizations of Sega. Capcom was one of the candidates for Sega to make crossover. Agreed. No one in any company anywhere is realistically going to stop doing something just because people don't like it for trying something different, especially when said thing isn't even out yet and they're treating it as though it's the worst thing ever before it's known if it's good or bad.

FINALLY. I was almost about to make a similar stamp to this. I'm so sick of people abusing Change.org SO MUCH, half the time I don't understand how they think they can achieve half of the stupid shit they make petitions for. For instance, I once saw a petition that said to "Give the Mane 6 a makeover in the fourth Equestria Girls movie".

Most of them are literally just, "I HATE THAT PONY PORN EXISTS! (or whatever) IF YOU ALSO HATE IT SIGN THIS PETITION TO BAN IT FROM THE INTERNET! GOAL: 10,000 SIGNATURES!"
...Who is the TARGET? What is the ACTUAL goal?
That's why...I'll sign them as favors to people I love who ask for such things, but I don't ACTUALLY believe in a lot of them.
It's VERY rare that they have a discernible, intelligent goal or plan, so they really are just a waste of time.
That said, my gallery is still on lockdown until the petition I'm championing hits 5,000 sigs, and I have no shame.

To add to your point on Cloud in Smash:Β I don't even get why people are SO angry over extra, optional playable characters. Do I particularily care for any of the DLC characters that were announced on December? Well, I don't dislike them or anything, but they're not characters that I seriously adore. But for me, that's no prerequisite to admire what's given to us. Cloud and Bayonetta? Fuck yeah! People were clamoring for those two! Seeing those wishes fulfilled was enough to make me happy. Corrin? Neat as Hell for Fire Emblem fans hyped for the next game.
