Description
I think most Nintendo fans would agree with me that, while Switch Online is a cheap service, you don't get too many great features in return. The least of which is Nintendo's idea to seemingly chuck out the Virtual Console in it's entirety and instead have a (small and slowly growing) list of NES games you can play for ''free'' with some new features.*breaths in*...No. Just no. I get what Nintendo is trying to do with this but this would work better if the list of games was not only longer but at the very least also included SNES, N64, Gamecube (come on, just add those already!) and even Gameboy games. Or, keep this feature but ALSO bring back the VC where you do have to pay to get these games but you can also keep them if you don't pay for online. That way EVERYONE wins and we get to keep and play these classic games. Because if not then we are resorted to emulating and ROM hacks.
Illegal? Perhaps but what other choice do we have?

It's been long enough that they should bring it back with handheld, Gamecube, and Wii games. All of those would work on Switch and Wii games in particular can be played like they were originally intended to be thanks to motion control. It would be great to take Super Mario Galaxy on the go while we wait for Odyssey 2.

The 2 Galaxy games, Paper Mario 2, all 3 Pikmin games, Wind Waker/Twilight Princess/Skyward Sword HD and so many more would be pretty cool.

If Konami cared enough they'd put Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on the switch. That's a game that doesn't work as well without the motion controls.

I'd honestly be up for a SH Collection that contains SH 1 through 4 and also contains Shattered Memories. But you know, this time they actually have make it a proper conversion.

Well the problem with a proper SH collection is that Konami lost the source code for SH2 and 3. That's why the HD collection was so bad, they gave the port team a buggy beta version of each game and then not enough time to fix all the issues. The port team tried their hardest, but they had to patch bugs that weren't present in the ps2 versions, among other problems. Not sure about the status of SH 1 and 4. I assume Shattered Memories is safe due to its' recency.
