Gentlemen, I like villains. Gentlemen...I LOVE villains!

I love villains that are cocky/arrogant and overpower the heroes easily and the heroes have do everything in their power to even come close to beating the villain.

I love villains that plan everything out and have backup plans for their backup plans, who know how to manipulate their opponents so much that they almost don't have to lift a finger to be victorious.

I love villains that have a great backstory and are sympathetic, who you can understand WHY they do the things they do. At the same time I also love villains that are just evil for the sake of evil, of just being a antagonist yet they have so much joy in the carnage and terror they bring that I don't mind the lack of depth.

I love villains that, like some heroes, walk the fine line between good and evil. The ones that dabble into the gray area and claim they do things for the greater good, the ones that you can write philosophical papers about on what it truly means to be good or evil.

Gentlemen, a hero is only as good as the villain(s) they go up against. In some cases we might even root for them, in some macabre way. Perhaps some of you can even identify with certain aspects of a villain. That is nothing to be ashamed about because a lot of villains are just human and THAT is what makes them truly terrifying. The fact that anyone one of us can become like that, given the right circumstances. You can say that all it takes is one bad day...

Anyway, Hellsing parody aside, villains are awesome, nuff said
