Discernment and Judgment (should) go hand in hand. Take a criminal trial - evidence is presented, witnesses are called to testify/counter-testify. To get a handle of what is going on requires discernment. Another aspect of Discernment is the ability to separate Truth from Lie. When the Prosecutor and Defense 'rest their cases' it is up to the Jury or Judge to use their Discernment to get to the finalΒ truth of the matter which is a Judgment- Guilty/Not Guilty. When no Judgment because Discernment does not work then terms like Hung Jury are used and no Judgment is given.

Another wild card is that everything about reality, no matter the evidence, is always filtered by perspective. Simple example:
Lets go back to the days before microscopes were invented. Prior to then, there was no way to prove that germs and bacteria existed. The truth is that they do exist. Even more than truth, it is a fact that they exist. Even if someone had a microscope -- until those became accepted by the mind of the main stream -- then people who thought microscopes were just silly, would do exactly what people still do. They would dismiss the evidence and not even bother looking at it, because to them: it would be an insult to their intelligence to consider something they view as being so ridiculous.
This is why Newtonian Scientists refuse to look at any evidence from Quantum Physics experiments. They view Quantum Physics as a pseudo-science at best, and a metaphysical fallacy at worst.
People will always defend their belief systems, in all circumstances, be damned the evidence.
To people in Salem back in the old days -- if you could show them a flash light, it would be evidence that you were a witch and you'd be burned at the steak. Because to them, they are using discernment. They do have valid evidence. To them, the evidence proves logically and beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are a minion of satan.
The world has not gotten more enlightened since those days.

Fear is what screws up discernment. Fear of being proven wrong. Fear of being called something nasty when what you have discerned is the real truth. Fear of being killed.
The thing about Salem is that fear worked both ways. The general populace gave into fear so fast they couldn't discern that the girls were lying. The people who backed the liars were condemning themselves. Fear kept people from speaking out when they knew/suspected those girls were liars.

When it comes to things like fear, ego and things like that -- in my opinion there are two versions of each of those things. The true ego and the false ego. True fear and false fear. The ones with "True" in their title are actually positive things. For example, true fear is that fleeting 15 second sensation that allows you to get out of the way of the on-coming truck so that you don't become road kill. The false fear is the destructive emotional negative feedback loop that we are taught to create. The false perception of fear. The fake fear. The poison for both body and mind. True ego is merely that understanding that "oneness" is infinite expression of diversity. That the "you" that is aware and says "I am me and I am self aware" is an aspect of that infinite diversity. An aspect that can identify with itself and say "I am me". The one that can walk around and know that this particular aspect of infinite diversity, while it is true that on one level it is one with all, on another level it is its own separate entity. So it does not walk around thinking that it is the floor and it is the walls and it is the house plant and it is the dog. It is able to say "I am me and I am aware that I am me". That is the true ego.
The false ego says "I am all out for myself, fuck everybody else". The false ego has no understanding of the simultaneous oneness and separateness. It does not understand how all things are connected. It doesn't understand we all live on the same one sphere. That it is home to all. That when we fuck up any part of it, we fuck up the whole. It doesn't understand that all genetics is connected in a web of life. That all weather systems are connected. That when you piss into a fan, the consequences are what they are. It doesn't understand that when you set your neighbour's house on fire, yours will soon catch also.
False ego is addicted to the illusion of appearing as if it is right. It is ignorant. It is an attention whore. It is an addict. It is neurotic. It is pathological. It is super imposed upon us and tricks us into thinking it is the real ego when in fact its nothing but a mental malware virus thats been hijacking the system.

I agree with you 100%. "I think therefore I am." Self-awareness should be tempered with a sense of humility(in the spiritual sense, not the worldly sense) or a person gets what you call 'False Ego'.
Fear, can be tricky. We all have little phobias that boggle us and in worse cases paralyze a person in their daily lives. Personally, not a fan of heights so being a pilot isn't on my 'to-do' list.

Thanks People tend to not know the difference between the two. We are told to use "good judgement" but that term is an oxymoron. Its like saying "use open minded arrogance" lol
Discernment is the word most people don't know they are actually looking for, in the context they are attempting to express.
So this creates confusion and people begin to think that being judgemental and arrogant is the same as being logical and intelligent. So we live in the politically correct (which is another oxymoron) world that we live in.

WELL SAID... I would add something to strengthen it, asΒ poetically written wisdoms against the propaganda-filled norm, is kind off my thing, but honestly, I have nothing to add.
Nicely written man!!!

Thanks I find that the main problem, especially within the "well intended freedom movements" and such, is a total lack of respect for peoples right to their opinions. This is because we were raised from little kids to be like tyrants, because its tyrants who run the world. We all operate based on what we know. What we know, is what we've been taught. There is no such thing as inherently good or bad human nature. Human nature is simple: survival through adaptation to environment.
Provide a benevolent environment, and you'll have kids learning how to be peaceful and respectful. Provide a dysfunctional environment, and you'll have kids learning how to be dysfunctional. So I don't fault or blame or hate or condemn anyone in these freedom movements for their arrogance and hypocrisy, because they are legitimately and genuinely unaware of it.
In the best case scenario, when someone has an opinion that makes someone else butt hurt, they will claim it is rude, inappropriate, unintelligent, unprofessional or whatever other sort of mud flinging ego penis contest game that people decide to play. In the worst cases, it results in outright slander and people taking action against others. So when you have an opinion someone doesn't like, the more paranoid of the hypocrites will assume you have an evil agenda. So they will claim that you are spewing propaganda, rather than just disagreeing with your opinion. Because these people in these freedom movements talk about how much they love freedom, but they do not realize that their definition of freedom is "anything that they agree with" and their definition of anti-freedom is "anything they don't agree with". Well, thats no different than fascism. Every dictator rises to power waving the flag of freedom. Thats historical fact. Even Hitler rose to power under the banner of freedom and ironically, he actually meant it. Its just that dictators have their own skewed definition of what freedom means to them.
Being outspoken, I've been accused of pretty much everything you can think of, so its actually rare for me to see someone slinging a form of poo that I've not already had thrown at me. I've been accused of being a troll, in the best case. Because obviously, if I'm not bowing down and worshipping the other person and I dare say something that doesn't resonate with them -- it can't mean that I legitimately disagree with them. It must mean that I actually DO agree with them, but am PRETENDING not to, in order to lure them into some sort of trap, or -- whatever. Wonderful mixture of paranoia and arrogance. Of course I've been accused of running a psyop. I've been accused of being payed by the Illuminati to throw people off track. I've been accused of being a government agent. I've even been accused of not even existing, and that one was on Facebook where I was using my REAL NAME. lol
One of the really awesome ones is when people who claim to be in the freedom movement tell me I am a service to self scammer because "I make money on youtube by MAKING VIDEOS FOR PEOPLE TO WATCH FOR FREE". This one is especially funny because they are still programmed into the view that your work is only legitimate if you are a slave to the Globalist Elites and their systems of tyranny, where as making money giving things away and being free, is somehow a fraud. It comes off to me as if they are saying "you're a scammer if you're a kind generous person, because everyone already knows that only criminals who rob you are honest and legitimate" lol ... total cognitive dissonance. Admission is free, pay at the door. Pull up a chair, and sit on the floor. lol
So even within the well intended freedom movements, theres still too much ego as of yet. People coming up with all sorts of paradigms and excuses in order for their addiction to drama to be satisfied. So as I said, the short version of this whole rant is that you say something people don't agree with, they become butt hurt, and they claim you are spewing propaganda. Because from the perspective of their ego -- anything that disagrees with them, is their enemy. And thats nazi thinking. Even the nazis thought they were saving the world and doing good things. And they legitimately thought that.
War is peace. Slavery is freedom. Ignorance is strength.
The more we wipe that load of crap out from the mind of the human collective, the more sane of a world we'll create. But until then, its quite a roller coaster ride. lol
Paranoid people can be quite amusing, though.

WOW... when it comes to writings, you take the extra mile!!!Β
I might make several comments on your text, as it's quite a bit, and I want to take the time to read it properly, and think it through. Always nice to add more wisdom to my collection and see what I can learn from my fellow FREEDOM FIGHTER.Β
I will say this however:
"Paranoid people can be quite amusing, though.Β "
Well, given how DEEP this dark-hole of LIES, CORRUPTION, COVER-UPS and SECRET AGENDA'S go, I can fully understand why it would drive many people to such insane paranoia. They are still people who have been programmed all their lives to engage in such irrational, extremist and discriminating ways of thinking. Β
Give these people time to let it all sink in, and they'll turn around After all, they've already got a morally and intellectually accurate foundation set up, so there off to a good start to de-programme themselves all the way through.
