TWILIGHT WHAT ARE YOU DOING.Okay, this wasn't intended for publishing - so it's probably rife with errors, stupid dialogue, lack of any real story, blah blah. Hell, I don't even know if it'll fit on the page - does DA have a maximum image height?? Haha.
It began as a cluster of images and was a bit of practice for several things I wanted to try in relation to some animations. But, it did end up being some kind of vague story (I just like doing that; a bit more motivation to complete an image that way)
So... why not? Chuck it together and post it. Whatever, basically!
Actually, I did go on to have a little fun with this one beyond the comic itself (I'm sure the adventurous/those with google-fu will find out) heheh. It suffices to say the conversation between these two goes on a little longer than we see in the comic.
My bad if using deviantart assets/stuff of that sort is not allowed on DA. I never recall reading that this was the case, but if it is, then, as Derpy would say, "oops".
I'm still primarily working on animations, in case anyone is wondering when any more are coming - unfortunately, they just take FOREVER and images by comparison are fairly quick to do!

This was a highly amusing (and an excellent satire) comic. The fact that you re-enacted this with real accounts takes this from highly-amusing to simply brilliant. Respect.

This is silly yet I think the quality of the art is enough to pass for uploading. (I got your Derpy screensaver btw, I love it sooo much, thank you for making it!!!!) But the implication is there like you say and even though you just had a random cluster, it turned out to be a tale of morality and irony.
I think this is worth submitting to EqD, despite its language, but I think this is right up Trollestia's alley.

I'm glad you like the screensaver! I'm making another one at the moment (will contain copious amounts of Fluttershy... and a couple of other characters). Time will tell if it's more adorable than Derpy and her lamp, eh?

I hope that in the future, I can animate, but Flash just complicates things for me...I think it was the programming aspect, but considering most Flash videos are tweening frames, but art is something that doesn't suit me, at least more traditional mediums like drawing, painting, sculpting, etc. Just a blank slate to me...
But I digress. I think that you're a fine artist and this is really good quality for something so silly.

It's sad to say but this sort of stuff really does happen. Well...not the part where the troll get's blown up by magic. But the part where people who've worked very hard and who aren't the best of artists get the art that they're so proud of ripped on by people on the internet. And there are even worse people who will continue to comment on that persons artwork telling them how much it "sucks" and whatnot. Some might say that it's stupid to get upset about what people from over the internet think but pretty easy to fall into depression especially whenever you have low self esteem as is. I've seen it happen before and not just to people who draw. It happens to people who write and post their stories online. They were people who honestly loved doing what they did and they stopped because of what the internet trolls said. It's really sad to watch that happen and I can only wish that it won't happen again but it's pretty much inevitable

I totally agree. I've seen it happen too. I don't understand the kind of people who can do that and not think of the anguish (and that's the right word) it can cause someone who's really trying their hardest and still needs time to improve. Sure, if you're winding someone up and you're gonna let them in on it later, that's okay, I think, but if it's just vitriolic hatred, well... boo.
I know, like you do, that this is supposed to be a silly comic - but, I was very well aware of the subtler message behind it, and to those who pick up on that, I hope it comes across as a nice, satisfying, humorous poke at the people who really think that sort of brutal commentary is okay.
