TWILIGHT WHAT ARE YOU DOING.Okay, this wasn't intended for publishing - so it's probably rife with errors, stupid dialogue, lack of any real story, blah blah. Hell, I don't even know if it'll fit on the page - does DA have a maximum image height?? Haha.
It began as a cluster of images and was a bit of practice for several things I wanted to try in relation to some animations. But, it did end up being some kind of vague story (I just like doing that; a bit more motivation to complete an image that way)
So... why not? Chuck it together and post it. Whatever, basically!
Actually, I did go on to have a little fun with this one beyond the comic itself (I'm sure the adventurous/those with google-fu will find out) heheh. It suffices to say the conversation between these two goes on a little longer than we see in the comic.
My bad if using deviantart assets/stuff of that sort is not allowed on DA. I never recall reading that this was the case, but if it is, then, as Derpy would say, "oops".
I'm still primarily working on animations, in case anyone is wondering when any more are coming - unfortunately, they just take FOREVER and images by comparison are fairly quick to do!

Next time, think before trolling your student anonymously, Trolestia. Maybe she'll leave it at a stern talk about trolling instead of sending a magic hockwave to you. 
Well, anyways. Thanks for this statement about honest, yet THOUGHTFULL feedback. Being mean and intentionally hurtfull is not thoughtfull. Giving REAL tips and help on the other hoof, is.
And closing with... you really think Celestia would do THAT? I mean, yes, she can be a little troll at times, but her mischief never caused more than a brief "Uh... what?" - she has never the intend to hurt anyone (I think her pranks can be compared with P.P.'s or R.D.'s - though of course given her power she can do them more elaborate and with moe impact. But doing outright, mean trolling is somewhat.. not like her.)

On your comment about Celestia not being a troll, I don't really think anyoe else believes that she would ever do something like that either. The internet belief she is a troll is just that, an internet belief. It's all in good fun, and it's just fanart anywho.

Yep. probably, "Trollestia" is just a good-natured nickname and considering these antics ARE unexpected from our belove hooved physical godess they are harsher y the suprise element.
But well, since I DID add my remark about thoughtful critiques ... I felt like adding an example. And Trollestia is one that's bugging me for quite a while now. I mean, not every mischief- and pranks-loving perosn is a troll (or would we consider Rainbow and Pinkie trolls? Nope. Since we know they know their limits (namely Fluttershy.). And Celestia knows her limits with pranks too (plus she does not set up pranks and traps... she sets up situations and hopes they develop in an... interesting way. Well, aside from her more serious Batman Gambits that serve to save Equestria. And I've got my theory about Luna's involvement into the events in the forest in the 2nd episode). In other words, she is anything but a troll and it kinda annoys me to see her portrayed as such in a SERIOUS manner. Here it is fun and a play with her internet reputation as such...
But well. serveral fan fictions... ugh.

For something you claim to have not intended to make into a story I'd say it came out very nicely. I'm grinning like a doofus here in my chair and that's got to count for something.
In any case I'd say that the part I liked most (other than the idea of Twilight nuking trolls,) was your use of expressive poses and styling. Both Twilight and Celestia tell their stories almost without even needing the text.

The text and webpage stuff was added retrospectively - the primary frames were originally just separate, standalone images with a purposeful focus on character position and expression. I'm glad it was successful, haha. I was testing methods for quickly/effectively posing and adjusting characters, and examining different visual effects and how to achieve them (the more I can achieve in Illustrator alone, the more I can squeeze into future animations).
