Description
ImageSome friends and I went for a small beach party in St Ives. I couldn't resist taking my camera with me, to the dismay of my mates I wanderd off whislt they set up the fire. I ended up in a preety inacessible spot, with a great pebble beach. I was able to get in the water as it was extremly calm and set up my camera and shot away. I was so engrossed to get the right shot I forgot the time that I had a small search party out for me because they thought I had fallen off a cliff or something...nice to know they care.
This shot did come at a price as I ended up losing my phone somewhere...
Development
Taken and Proccessed in RAW through Adobe Bridge and PS; white balance left at 'as shot'. boosted the curves a little and used Neat Image to irradicate unwanted noise, then sharpening on the rocks in the forground

Hey, mind if I use this for inspiration on a story, along with the other beach fog shots?

Now thats a colour palette you dont see everyday...
I only wish there wasnt the break in the horizon. I love the mind numbing dullness of this shot, and I mean that in a good way!

fabulous ... the only nit might be that the streak of colour is a little washed out - I'd try and bring some life into it and leave it like that - perfect!
