Hello my name is Patchi1995, and today, I might as well make the differences between the real-life and the Lion King's spotted hyenas, Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed(Edume, or Edris for long). The real-life spotted hyenas had their manes being similar colors to their fur, but more brighter, redder, darker, or browner, while their spots and tail are blackish. The Lion King's animated version, however, had their mane, tail, boot-markings, and their ears blackish, while their spots are darker than their fur.
