Cute things can be violent, violent things can be cute.A person's pony character can be gory, violent, offensive, or whatever else you want it to be.
If people think blood and gore in the pony fandom is bad, they need to go look at real ponies and equine. Blood, matted fur, broken legs, torn ears, and lots of brutal nature at its finest.
Horses can do massive damage when defending themselves, and ponies aren't any different.
