Oddly enough, they both are (Google "The Grey Ghost USS..." and see what it give you to autocomplete).

Well, I've found very few instances where that name is applied. In fact, I've only found one. And that was attributed to her being haunted, which doesn't make the ship itself a "ghost". Enterprise was called that because she was reported sunk by the Japanese 3 times.

and a couple of times on the Ship's (museum) website as well. I'm fairly certain they refer to it as such on the tour, but I was most recently there last July (when this photo was taken).
To confuse matters further, apparently the RMS Queen Mary was also called the Grey Ghost while serving as a troop ship.
