Even more Fallout Humvees!The first Humvee is an uparmored, antitank equipped vehicle from a mechanized unit - fighting alongside tanks and armored gun trucks. (and yes, the unit insignia is two bears high-fiving.) Given the largely infantry composition of Caesar's Legion, this vehicle would probably wait in reserve, and may be deployed with an alternative weapon mount (unless some threatening securitrons show up...)
The Ranger Humvee is s stripped down GMV unit similar to those used by special forces patrols before the Great War - the weight saved by cutting the vehicle down lets it carry everything needed for an extended patrol behind enemy lines (which, being the case I should have given it way more stowage) including extra LMG mounts.
The first recon Humvee is something between the GMV and a standard Humvee - the rear weapon mount has been turned into a stable mount for an antimateriel rifle (for precision shooting while the vehicle is stationary). All three vehicles are painted a desert brown scheme with low observability markings (compared to the red and gold of the standard insignia).

I was giving it some thought, since it would have to be visually distinct from the others, besides just having the minuteman logo on the door. Presumably the Fallout 4 Humvees would be:
Minutemen - blue with the minutemen logo, with a .50 cal mount
Gunners - OD with the gunner's logo, .50 cal mount
Institute - clean white, with a heavy energy weapon mount, and maybe a special cargo module. Kind of seems a little low-tech for the Institute, honestly.
BOS - grey uparmored version, as the others.
In theory the Railroad is a the fourth major faction (not the gunners), but since they're all about covert underground activities, an armed vehicle doesn't make much sense. Probably a bike would make more sense.

Huh, these are pretty interesting. I've been putting together a collection of miniatures to play my own Fallout skirmish game for a while now, but until now didn't really consider making Humvees for factions other than the BoS (which I have the Fallout: Tactics Humvee and an open topped supply one for). However looking at these has given me ideas. The NCR for example I use older Willys Jeeps with (given all the armouries they've looted more than a few of them were probably still mothballed), but with the better equipped units I see no reason why they wouldn't have Humvees (well in a world where Humvees are available that is, given the questionable canon of Tactics). Anyhow, I think I may go back and put together some more of these vehicles for the other factions I have (uh, bar the Chinese Remnants) partly based on these.

Parked up on top of a mesa, sitting in a lawn chair in the back, beer bottle perched on the fender, sighting in his AMR on a Centurion standing on another mesa nearly a mile away...
He's my favorite companion NPC, and he's pretty much a monster with a high end gun, but he blazes through his ammo like no one's business.

This is great work! I want to drive around in the 5th Mechanized's humvee and blow crap up in the Mojave.
