Description
In 996.M31, a life extension program was started for the spider missile complex. The result was the Spider B missile; it was equipped with an improved guidance system and a controlled warhead with aerodynamic rudders that ensured deviation from the target within 30 meters (90 ft).
An offshoot of the Spider B program, the Spider ER is an extended-range variant of the Spider B missile. This ten-meter-long (32ft), two-stage missile is used by the 11th legion as a theatre ballistic missile with a range between 600-1000 kilometers (372-621 miles).
