Screenshot taken from my XP SP3Most XP to 7 mods have the problem that the bottomshell is cut off while using Findexer. This gives away the illusion by first sight.
With this deviation you can make it look closer to the real thing.
This is a skin for BorderSkin by Komalo
Probably my last XP to 7 mod.
No redistribution in Transformationpacks/Skinpacks allowed!

If you want to run all apps used on this picture you should have at least 512mb RAM on your computer. If you mean only BorderSkin, it uses 1-2mb.

This stuff was lying around on my HD.It was made for fun a while ago.I stumbled over it,and thought why not release it?Maybe i do some finetuning, if i can motivate myself.I think the caption buttons are still from Build 7100.

Der Explorerteil funktioniert komplett. Die Bottomshell ist nur für die Optik.Man könnte allerdings die Styler Toolbar durch das hier ersetzen [link] Dann hat man eine funktionierende Shell und eine Fake Shell. XP erlaubt keine Verwendung von zwei Shellstyles gleichzeitig.

Leider ist es schon etwas spät. Das Interesse wird wohl nicht so gross sein. Die sind alle schon auf den Windows8 Zug aufgesprungen.

Wohl war, wohl war. Wobei Windows XP an sich auch seinen Teil dazu tut; es ist mittlerweile auch schon betagt. Wird BorderSkin eigentlich noch weiterentwickelt? Ich habe dessen Entwicklung nicht mehr weiterverfolgt, seitdem ich Win7 habe...

Die Tage von XP sind gezählt, das ist klar.Obwohl es in Firmen und Behörden noch viel verwendet wird. Aber die modden wohl kaum ihren Desktop.
Bei BorderSkin tut sich schon eine ganze Weile nichts mehr. Der gute Komalo hat wohl sehr viel mit seiner Schule um die Ohren. Da hat er ja auch recht, das geht vor. Ausserdem läuft die 0.2.9 Version nahezu perfekt. Was soll er da noch gross machen?

Weiss ich nicht, aber er also auch Lee brauchen unbedingt neue Ideen, ansonsten sind sie bald weg von der Bildfläche, denn WinXP verliert nur noch Prozente, mehr Marktanteil wird es für WinXP nicht mehr geben.
