Description
You can get the (ugly?) look of the Windows8 7989 startmenu with this.I was inspired to do this by a screenshot of Bruellkaefer[link]
This is for Windows XP.
I will add a Windows7 compatible version the next days.
Had to remove the exe because Leesoft doesn't support the redistribution of their executables anymore. You have to download it from Leesoft to use this skin.. Downloadlink included.No redistribution in Transformationpacks/Skinpacks allowed!
CAUTION
BE CAREFUL WHILE INSTALLING VISTART. NEVER, REALLY NEVER INSTALL BABYLON TOOLBAR. IT IS A TRASHY MALWARE WHICH POSSIBLY MESSES UP YOUR COMPUTER. GOOGLE FOR IT TO SEE WHAT I MEAN.

how did you get the quicklaunch spacing like that

Unselect quicklaunch. Pin IE; explorer and media player to the taskbar. Go to the options menu of SBar and adjust the spacing to your likings.

Hide allyour systray icons and install the SBar skin. When you need the original systray click on the speaker icon.

to change the file, you can turn off beta testing and then change it, and then turn beta testing back on.

I haven't put much effort to do this. I will probably not use it often. To complicated to work with it. The real Win8 will be better (hopefully).

Well, it is quite ugly, but, it is or a reason, they want to port the Metro Interface all over Win8. Still, it is a good mod ^^

it will be on that style tho, the Metro UI will take over the Windows interface, so expect something like this, but more stylish, also... i like it, i have never been much of a glass fan

Well, they said they were supposed to completely replace the Start Menu with that new Metro UI Start Screen.
