Description
From the Metroid NES Manual-Waver:
These powerful enemies flutter around in irregular patterns. Shoot at them
or they'll attack.
[LOG 07- WAVER]
Wavers are flying creatures that are able to ride on air currents pulsing through Brinstar's numerous long caverns. They are living fossils, their rocklike shells often used to blend in with the environment. Years upon years of hanging from cavern ceilings combined with Zebes' irregular gravity have caused stalactites to form on their shells. They fly in weird spiral patterns, low and high, trying to catch microorganisms in their long beak like pincers.

Ooh, this might be my favorite so far! Love the reflected(?) blue light and the little bit more definition on this one (instead of it blending so entirely with the background. Very cool design of the wings/shell!

Thanks sis! Yeah, I wanted this one to be more visible, since the rooms it appears in are some of the only rooms with any kind of actual light source, being pools of bright acid.

Metroid Prime is great, probably my 2nd favorite in the whole series after Super Metroid, in terms of gameplay. Thanks a bunch!

Good thing they only eat microorganisms. Well done!
