This is one of the best Zero suit designs I have ever seen. I like the serious color scheme and how it's designed around functionality instead of showing what her body looks like...speaking of which, you have also nailed her tough athletic body type perfectly. You have done the REAL (not emotional sexualized Other M version) Samus justice!

Thanks, her body was really important to get right! I'd like to draw her again soon with this bodytype, but perhaps more stylized.

Justin Bailey is a passcode for the original Metroid nes game, allowing you to play as a suitless samus.
I don't know what Justin Bailey refers to: whether it's an actual person, or whether it means "Just in Bailey"(Bailey is an Australian(?) term for bathing suit). No idea.

I've heard from a few channels that it does indeed refer to a person. But in the decade-ish that I've been into Metroid, I never knew about the Australian terminology. I learned something today.

When I first saw it in Zero Mission I was rather disapointed by it, too anime for my tastes, but it's alright enouph. It would be really cool to see her with traditional space explorer undergarments like you depicted here.
I had a dream recently where i saw this x-ray image of Samus, similar to that Prime concept art, where her zero suit was rigged with various car engine-like pieces, and inside her body too, like a weird cyborg! Which looked rather surreal because there clearly wasn't enouph space for those due to being under the power suit, but they fitted anyway.
