Thanks, Steve, and thanks for the fave. I don't really go in for submitting this kind of shot, even though I take plenty. (Living on the canal helps!)But the sharpness of the duck against the background pleased me. Looks almost lonely.

Yes, and the color fits the mood.

It's like taking sunset shots. It's easy to get a pretty one, but really tough to get one that stands out.
