Chainstrosities are horrid mutants that originate from the gene-stalks of demonic animals known as Sawcubi, all these monstrosities known in their painful existence is rage and death. These mutated demons are created by Tech Mages, and unlike their other projects where they're commissioned by the Hierarchy, these beasts are made in their free time, the Tech Mage community considers creating Chainstrosities as a fun and challenging project, however these creatures don't consider this process as "fun".

Tech Mages start experimenting on Lesser Sawcubi as soon as they hatch, and the first thing they do to these babies is forcefully injecting dozens of mutagens into its body, and after that they graft various cybernetic attachments to the juvenile creature, then they leave it for a couple months to grow big enough to continue the process. As soon as the Lesser Sawcubus reaches adulthood, the Tech Mages will once again inject more mutagens and put in more cybernetic parts, however this time the mutations will really start to kick in, as the Sawcubus' sawblade-tongue will split into four other tongues with their own sawblades on them, they will also become larger and more bipedal as the days pass.

These poor creatures' eyes will also begin to atrophy and sink into its head, becoming blind, the mouth will then become wider to compensate for the quadruple-split tongues, and more teeth will start to grow and jut out of the beast's face, at this point the monster's face is just a whole full of teeth and sawblades. Speaking of which, it's front paws will also be amputated in exchange for cybernetic chainsaw hands, this will force them to be bipedal forever, and for the final additions Tech Mages will install many cooling devices within and out of the creatures' body to regulate its insane body heat, and just like that the Chainstrosity is complete.

This whole process is already grueling and painful, for both the animal and the Mages, a big reason why the creation of these monstrosities are considered insanely hard is due to the fact that 60% of the time, the Sawcubi will die during the experiments and Mages would need to start all over again, the process of successfully making a Chainstrosity is said to be around 8 months to a year. Since Chainstrosities are made as freelance projects, Tech Mages can sell these beasts to anybody wiling enough to pay big time to have these things around, these mutants are often bought by the Hierarchy to simply serve as terror weapons on the battlefield, where as other societies and groups by them to be high class security guards, and oddly enough some are even bought to be lumber workers and butchers.

It doesn't need to be said on how deadly these 12ft (3.6m) monsters are with their huge spinning sawblades, Chainstrosities can launch their quadruple-pronged tongues in a short enough distance to carve your chest open, and they can slam their large, revving chainsaw hands down on upon you and cause you to fall apart into three separate vertical slices. These monsters remember everything of what happened to them, and if put into a combat situation they'll be put into a psychopathic rage, and despite them being blind they can still smell and hear you.
